Personal Injury

Personal Injury

If you have been involved in a road traffic accident and suffered injuries whether as a driver or a passenger and the accident was not your fault, you may be entitled to compensation. There are two types of compensation you may be entitled to:
General damages which are paid as compensation for physical injury, pain suffering and loss of amenity or loss of future earnings. These are losses which are likely to continue into the future where it is difficult to put a final figure on them. We will usually obtain an expert medical report to support your claim for compensation when assessing the value of your injury claim.
Special damages which are paid as compensation for actual financial loss caused by the offending party following the accident. These can include damage to clothing or personal belongings, the costs of care, travel costs to hospital, medical expenses (including the cost of private treatment) and the cost of hiring and/or repairing a car if it has been damaged in the accident.

There are time limits within which you must begin legal action in a personal injury claim and in these types of cases this is three years from the date of the accident. This means that court proceedings must be issued within three years of you first being aware that you have suffered an injury.

We will commence the claim on your behalf and deal with all aspects of your case. We offer:

·         ‘No Win No Fee’

·         Personal and Confidential Advice

·         100% compensation with no deductions from your compensation whatsoever

·         Friendly & experienced staff

·         An insurance backed service - All claims are covered by after the event insurance policies, so that if your case is unsuccessful at any subsequent trial then your costs for losing the case will be covered (subject to the insurers terms and conditions)

Call us for a free no obligation consultation and one of our lawyers will talk you through the process.
